The High School Years
Through the high school program of The Francis de Sales Centre at Mary, Mother of God School, students are formed as young Catholic men and women in an intensive, individualized academic program combined with an active spiritual life and ongoing community service.
FSC Fall Excursion
With the new academic year at the Francis de Sales Centre well underway, the high school students enjoyed a three-day break last week at Camp Brébeuf in Rockwood, Ontario.
Wye Marsh Excursion
An over-night trip to the Wye Marsh was just the way to enjoy winter! The FSC students had a chance to experience the beauty of an Ontario winter and the wildlife of the marsh, observing the trumpeter swans, feeding the chickadees, and learning how to snow-shoe and cross-country ski.
Pilgrimage to St. Michael's Cathedral
In honour of the anniversary of the dedication of St Michael’s Cathedral, the students of the Francis de Sales Centre made a walking pilgrimage to the cathedral this past Wednesday, the Feast of the North American Martyrs.
We Rock!
As part of their weekly fitness program, students of the Francis de Sales Centre took to the ice at the High Park Curling Club on September 28. The students learned the basics of the roaring game, along with some of the subtler points, such as the advisability of wearing socks when one plans to spend two hours standing on ice.
